About Kroger

Kroger is an old brand, starting with the grocery that Barney Kroger started in Cincinnati way back in 1883. He realized the benefits of one-stop shopping quickly enough, and in 1901 he was the first to have his groceries with its own bakeries.

That’s the idea with Kroger today. Their locations sell just about every type of object that a person or a household might need. As it started as a grocery, you can find various food items here. Then there are various household items, stuff for the kitchen and the dining room, personal grooming products, and even electronics.

These things include vaccinations, and that’s why Kroger doesn’t just offer the annual flu shots for their patients. Instead, they have a bunch of different vaccinations available. Aside from the shots for influenza, they also have vaccination shots for:

  • Covid-19
  • Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib) disease
  • HPV
  • Meningococcal disease (meningitis)
  • Polio
  • Allergy shots
  • Vitamin B-12
  • Birth control
  • Rocephin
  • Toradol
  • Tuberculosis
  • Pneumonia
  • TDP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)
  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Measles
  • Chickenpox
  • Any self-injectable medication supplied by the patient

It is even possible for a patient to get several vaccinations they need in a single appointment. So, if you haven’t had your Covid shots yet, you can get them along with the flu shots,

Kroger has thousands of grocery retail stores, supermarket fuel centers, and even 170 fine jewelry stores. And they also have 2,256 pharmacies attached to their food and drug stores, so it shouldn’t be difficult to find a Kroger pharmacy to get your flu shots.

Making the appointment is easy enough, starting with picking out which vaccinations you need. Then select the Kroger pharmacy, and pick the date and time of the appointment. Add your patient information.

Prepare sensibly for the appointment, and then just arrive on time. Every person, including babies over 6 months old, needs their flu shots each year.
